Hello, my name is Matt, and I'm the webmaster here at Toid.net, and I would say about 99% of the content of this domain is created and maintained by me. Within my website, you will find many pages discussing many different topics or displaying pictures of many different things. While I do my best to create a web presence of the up-most integrity, please understand the following few guidelines...
Offensive language will be occasionally found on some pages on my website. Generally, this is the exception, not the rule. I assure you that there is no page that should ever offend anybody who has seen a PG-13 movie. However, if you, the reader, digs deep enough into my site, you might discover a few instances of a word you might not find edifying. If this is the case, and this is a stumbling block for you, I encourage you to leave my site if it truely offends you. You know...this reminds me of a lecture my history teacher in college once gave about how the book "Catcher in the Rye" and how it was banned from being sold in certain stores because it contained the "F-word". My stance here at Toid.net is that all words if used in good taste are fair game to use. I figure most people can handle the things I say on my website. If you disagree with this, you of course can choose to leave at any point, as I'm not forcing you to read what is on my site. Also, I have no problems if you even want to go so far as build "Anti-Toid.net" sites to further protest your feelings. Be my guest.
Nudity and/or Obscene Pictures will not be found on Toid.net. If that's what you're looking for, you can go to one of the million pages that I'm sure are out there devoted to that kind of stuff.
Furthermore, anything found on Toid.net does not neccessarily represent me, as a person. While, I do my best to balance an honest perspective into my life and things I enjoy doing, please understand that the picture and/or article may have been written long ago, and not the same view I hold in the present. If you've tried to create your own website before, you have probably encountered this issue. What do you want to share with the public? How much of your life do you want to share? Etc. I will admit, at times this website is probably somewhat filtered as of course I ultimately choose what goes on Toid.net and what doesn't. But please don't hold me accountable for something you may find, that may be completely off-base and read with the wrong context.
Climbing, mountain biking, snowboarding, training for a marathon, peak bagging, and watching my webcam are all dangerous activities. Please participate in these at your own risk! Toid.net assumes no risk for any reason! This includes but is not limited to: mistyping some important word on a fourteener report causing you to not find the right trailhead, incorrectly giving of distances, bad route descriptions etc. Basically, it's not my fault if you can't take care of yourself and know what's best for YOU! What I did on a particular day, may not be the conditions on a day that you decide to go and do the same route. You've been warned! And of course death may occur...but really only if you watch my webcam, and that would be death out of boredom!
