Me (Colleen): Claire, what is your doggy’s name?
Claire: Oooooner!
Me: What is my name?
Claire: Mommy!
Me: Claire, what is your name?
Claire: Me!
Claire has never said her own name. She names her babies, and knows the dog’s name. She even mimicked me last night when I was calling for Matt. She called- Maaaaaat! through the house. It was pretty funny. She is pretty funny. And we love her so much.

Just wait. For the longest time Abby referred to herself in the third person all the time. Now she’s finally getting the grasp of pronouns and using them correctly. She would tell us all the time “Abby wants something to drink.”
