Hi! Since the last post, Claire has added New Mexico, Texas and OKlahoma to her list of states-traveled-to. We drove to Texas to see Jeff’s play off game against Western Texas A&M, where they lost by one point! It was heart-breaking, but a good game, and of course it was good to see Jeff too. And then we flew to Oklahoma for Thanksgiving where Claire met great-grandparents, Aunt Lori and more friends of the family, including the Tysons! She has started CRAWLING. Yes- that’s right… she is moving all over the floor now. She hasn’t quite coordinated hands-and-knees but she is scooting with her elbows, and kicking her legs and she can do it all by herself! She can however, push up on to her hands and knees so I am sure it will be no time until she is really crawling. (Matt- time to baby proof the house!) She has also had a bit of a cold, so I took her to the doctor Friday, but there isn’t much we can do. While we were at the doctor, they did weigh her and she has gained 1 pound and 7 ounces in the last 1 month. She is now 16 pounds 10 ounces… I knew she was getting heavy. Matt and I are looking forward to Christmas, and we have the tree up and decorated for the last week or so. Claire likes to watch the twinkling lights. We are excited to see her open her gifts, especially since we know that she loves to rip paper now! Well, enjoy the pics. Claire sure is getting cuter, at least we think so. Oh! And I almost forgot- we have started giving her some cereal at dinner time, which she really enjoys. Maybe that’s why she has been growing so fast! We have some pictures of that too, but it will have to wait until next time.

Mmmmmm….Yummy! She must have found something pretty funny in there! This is what I call “drooler-ific”. No, she is not teething. She just drools a lot.Claire swinging at the park. This is one of her new favorite things!Blue sky… just a little cold out in December. We have cold noses! Time to go inside!Jeff and Claire hanging out, the night before the big game (in Texas). There’s (captain) <a href=People in Texas take college football pretty seriously. This is the largest Division II stadium, in the country. And it was so hot… I am glad we were there in November and not August. This time we got to sit next to my dad, so Claire and Grandpa got to play a little before the game started.Grandma Susan fed Claire a bottle, and next thing you know- she was passed out! Even during the loud, crazy, screaming football game, Claire can sleep! Yes- I know we are lucky. There’s Jeff’s butt… somewhere in there. He’s getting ready to crunch, and hit and smash the other guys. Go Jeff!Cutie pie, Claire just woke up when the game ended.Big and little… to the extreme! She loves her Uncle Jeff, even when he’s covered in dirt and blood and sweat.Me and Jeff and Claire- a little blurry but the only pic we took after the game that day. Here I was, trying to snap a cute pic of Claire, but she kept turning her head around to try and watch the television. Silly girl!My mom was doing a great job of making Claire laugh!Sitting up on the bed, like a big girl.Meeting Matt’s Grandpa, for the first time on Thanksgiving day- Great Grandpa Esser!Playing with Matt’s cousin, Natalie. She’s four years old.Matt, Tracy, Linsday and Claire. The Tysons are Matt’s friends from OU, and it was so nice of them to drive up and visit us while we were in town.Matt and Claire were watching tv, and I just had to notice, that they look so much alike!Natalie was nice enough, to share some of her jewelry with Claire, so we put some beads on her head and called her Princess Claire. Which of course, she loved.Playing with Dakota on the floor. I think it looks like Claire is putting her head in the lion’s mouth.Drinking coke, just like Daddy.Looking for SOMETHING in Daddy’s mouth while we waited at the Tulsa airport. Of course, our flight was delayed but at least Claire was entertained!
