Broncos Game
Jason was nice enough to let me come along for a chilly (below zero) game of the Broncos vs. Chiefs at Invesco Field.
What pansies the Broncos fans are, not even filling up the stadium and staying home because it was “too cold”…
Santa is coming to town.
This weekend (the honorary) Aunt Jamie Lynn came to visit Miss Claire and shower her with attention, kisses, and of course a new cute outfit. One of the special events of the weekend was a visit to the mall for a visit with Santa. More to update later, but for now… enjoy the pic. We miss you already Jamie!
Texas,Thanksgiving, crawling and other stuff…
Hi! Since the last post, Claire has added New Mexico, Texas and OKlahoma to her list of states-traveled-to. We drove to Texas to see Jeff’s play off game against Western Texas A&M, where they lost by one point! It was heart-breaking, but a good game, and of course it was good to see Jeff too. And then we flew to Oklahoma for Thanksgiving where Claire met great-grandparents, Aunt Lori and more friends of the family, including the Tysons! She has started CRAWLING. Yes- that’s right… she is moving all over the floor now. She hasn’t quite coordinated hands-and-knees but she is scooting with her elbows, and kicking her legs and she can do it all by herself! She can however, push up on to her hands and knees so I am sure it will be no time until she is really crawling. (Matt- time to baby proof the house!) She has also had a bit of a cold, so I took her to the doctor Friday, but there isn’t much we can do. While we were at the doctor, they did weigh her and she has gained 1 pound and 7 ounces in the last 1 month. She is now 16 pounds 10 ounces… I knew she was getting heavy. Matt and I are looking forward to Christmas, and we have the tree up and decorated for the last week or so. Claire likes to watch the twinkling lights. We are excited to see her open her gifts, especially since we know that she loves to rip paper now! Well, enjoy the pics. Claire sure is getting cuter, at least we think so. Oh! And I almost forgot- we have started giving her some cereal at dinner time, which she really enjoys. Maybe that’s why she has been growing so fast! We have some pictures of that too, but it will have to wait until next time.
